Mim Ayet Analytics Consent

Effective date: [YAYIN TARİHİ]

This text is for the usage analytics permission the Mim Ayet app asks for on first launch. It is separate from the KVKK Notice. Giving permission is optional, and the option is off by default. If the two language versions differ, the Turkish version prevails.

What you allow

You allow Mustafa Erdoğan (Truffleinit) to process the following usage data through the PostHog analytics service:

  • usage analytics: which screen you open, which button you tap, session ID and language,
  • reading per-device settings to try out new features.

What does not depend on this permission

Error and crash records and the daily checks showing the app works properly do not depend on this permission; they are collected without asking and are described in the KVKK Notice. Detailed logging for support does not depend on it either; you turn it on yourself in Settings → Help with its own permission.

What is not sent

Your location, name, email address, the content of your prayer, fasting, khatm and dhikr records, and your special days data are not sent. Your IP address is not recorded. The data is processed on PostHog's servers in its EU region.

About religious belief

Using a prayer times and Quran app may suggest your religious belief. This permission also covers processing your usage data in that respect (KVKK art. 6(3)(a)).

If you do not allow it or withdraw it

If you do not allow it, every feature of the app works; no usage analytics events are sent and no per-device settings are read.

You can withdraw your permission at any time in Settings → Privacy. Once withdrawn, no new usage analytics data is sent. Data already sent is kept for at most 12 months; to have them deleted sooner, write to [email protected] with your support code.

The consent statement in the app

"I give my explicit consent for my usage data to be processed through PostHog for the usage analytics described above."
